About Dr. Ongaro
Chris Ongaro, EdD is an educator and tireless advocate on behalf of neurodivergent youth. Currently, he serves as Head of School at Robert Louis Stevenson School, a college preparatory, independent therapeutic school located in Manhattan, New York. In addition, he is an adjunct professor of education at Teachers College, Columbia University. Dr. Ongaro’s research and professional specializations include: academic, social, and emotional complexities in varied school settings; blended learning, gifted education, local possibility, personalization, and innovative school design.
Meet Dr. Christopher "Chris" Ongaro:
Dr. Ongaro is a proud graduate of The College of New Jersey, where he earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Elementary Education and English. Dr. Ongaro is also a graduate of Teachers College Columbia University, where he earned a Master of Arts in Gifted Education and Doctorate of Education in Curriculum and Teaching.
